Mogano

The toona is a native tree from a large geographic area ranging from India to Papawa New Guinea, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Philippines, Indigenous.

It grows in the forests at 2500 meters altitude.

It is cultivated in tropical regions, with temperatures between 16 and 32 degrees. It loves fine, rich, well-drained soils. The tree can reach 60 meters in height.

Its wood is hard, with fine grain and uniform. Easy to work. Its color is brown red.
